It’s that time of year again! Keep Pinellas Beautiful will be hosting the 2023 Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest community improvement program, in partnership with Keep America Beautiful, Pinellas County, and Seagram's Escapes from March 1st – June 30th. This Keep America Beautiful signature event engages over 7,000 volunteers, removing litter and beautifying locations throughout Pinellas County. Our main event will be held on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 at various sites throughout the county. The success of our mission relies on the engagement of residents to take responsibility within their own neighborhoods. Our partners and volunteers are individuals, families, students, civic organizations, businesses, and government entities who all want to improve the environmental health of the community in which we all live, work and play. Please help us exceed last year’s accomplishments by joining Keep Pinellas Beautiful and FIT4MOM Dunedin- Palm Harbor for this year's Great American Cleanup at Honeymoon Island! *** WHERE TO MEET: Honeymoon Island State Park - 1 Causeway Blvd, Dunedin, FL 34698. We will be set up in front of Bathhouse #2 (See map below). TIME: Cleanup will begin at 9:00 AM WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes, sun protection, and weather appropriate clothing. WHAT TO EXPECT: All cleanup supplies will be provided by Keep Pinellas Beautiful. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers will get a free KPB t-shirt for participating! PARKING: Volunteers will receive free parking for this event.
