Wine Education Class: Wines of the SouthwestT­he history of wine in the United States begins with the American Southwest. The Southwest is enormous, spanning more than 1,300 miles (2,100 km) from east to west and north to south. The combination of soils, climate, and elevations ranging between 3,000 and 6,000 feet all combine to make the region a unique wine-growing landscape similar to the warmer parts of Spain, Portugal, France, and Italy. We will learn about: Wines from New Mexico, Arizona and TexasCommon threads that tie these regions together What grapes do well in these climatesTop 10 best producers from the SouthwestJoin us for this wine education class and learn about some "Wines of the Southwest" we are sure you will enjoy.
