As a way to give back to our community, W.O.M.E.N. is sponsoring our 2nd Annual “Fill a Bunny Basket!" But this year we are combining our collection of these goodies with an in-person gathering, featuring guest speaker, Cherylann Lambert Walsh, the founder of Project Just Because! Help us gathering donations to fill Bunny Baskets for families who will be relying on Project Just Because to help make their Easter or Spring season memorable for their kiddos. We'll start of the night with Cherylann Lambert Walsh, President and Founder, telling the story of how she started Project Just Because in the basement of her home 20 years ago when she saw a need in Hopkinton to help feed neighbors in need. Fast forward to 2023, and every year, over 40,000 families visit Project Just Because for basic necessities and shop in dignity in Project Just Because's large facility located at 77 South Street, Hopkinton MA. After Cherylann finishes speaking, you can enjoy networking and mingling. Also if you wish you'll be able to help assemble the Bunny Baskets right there at CraftRoots. It is completely optional to participate in making baskets and optional to bring a donation. We are an inclusive family and anyone is welcome to join us for the evening. We will be collecting donations as you enter the door at CraftRoots on Tuesday March 28th starting at 6pm. See examples of items we are collecting below. It is optional to bring bunny basket donations. You do not need to bring a donation to join us! We welcome everyone! This is a NO COST networking event. However, delicious ice cold beer will be available for purchase. Light snacks will be offered for no cost while supplies last. THANK YOU for registering for a ticket on Eventbrite!
