Born in Chile in 2013, Misericordia is a catholic work, a private association of faithful people, aimed at serving the neediest in the outskirts of the big cities, convinced that Mercy can change the world. Misericordia aims at being, in the Church, the Heart of Christ that beats day and night for the poor. This is done through a multitude of innovative projects related to evangelization and service of the poor (health, education, insertion, etc.). We want to be a generous and audacious response to Pope Francis’ exhortations to set in motion a real revolution: that of tenderness! We try to do the simplest things with an extraordinary Love. Our action is focused on long term, aiming at enabling every person to build a fairer and warmer world. In the USA, Misericordia is present since 2020 in the Bronx.
