I Said What I Said: The Book Launch 30 Black women in nonprofit. Their Stories. A year-long journey. A Book that Tells it All. The inaugural cohort of the Black Women in Nonprofit Leadership celebrates the launch of their book, I Said What I Said, a truth-telling anthology about journeying through the nonprofit sector. After their cohort journey, these 30 women have shared a piece of their story with their community and are now ready to share it with the world. The night will include: Networking with other nonprofit leaders, and learn about the vision and future for Black Women in Nonprofit Leadership and its place in the work of Dallas TRHT.Mixing and mingling with the co-authors, food and drink will be providedA panel discussion with select co-authors who will do a short reading from their respective chapters as well as discuss the experience of the cohort, writing the book and being a Black Women in the NonProfit world. Books will be available for purchase and signing on site in addition to being available for purchase on Amazon!
