北大北加州校友会 月度爬山活动 3/12/2023

2023年不知不觉已经到了春回大地的三月初。期待和大家再度一起在湾区踏春。 去年开始的月度爬山活动得到了校友们踊跃的参与。今年，校友会将继续组织这一活动。我们会在每个月的中下旬相继选取中半岛，东湾或者南湾附近难度适中又景色优美的路线，方便住在不同地方的校友都有机会参与。我们期待和大家在轻松的户外氛围中锻炼身体，交流畅谈。   本次计划的路线是位于东湾Fremont附近的Golden Eagle Trail。这条路线往返只有2.3英里左右，相对容易但不全是平地，需要爬山上下，全程需要1个多小时。此地非常适合观鸟、散步、骑行。整个公园Vargas Plateau Regional Park在东湾山丘上，占地1249英亩，俯瞰湾区自然和城市风光，景色绝佳。在这里徒步还可能偶遇各类野生小动物：鹰、牛、小鹿、山猫、青蛙等等。停车点位于Vargas Plateau Regional Park。我们会根据网上建议的以下线路走完（https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/golden-eagle-trail-to-view-point）。 Trail Directions: Park at the Vargas Plateau Regional Park, and follow the trail past the restrooms, continuing through the gate. Keep going straight onto Golden Eagle Trail, past the next trail post. Golden Eagle Trail will contour around the hill and continue through another gate. At the second trail, pass through the gate to follow the Upper Ranch Trail. At the next trail post, stay to the left for the View Point Trail. The View Point Trail will ascend to the top of the hill. Take a break at the top of the plateau and enjoy the views. To return to the staging area, retrace your steps, turning right onto Golden Eagle Trail and following it back to the staging area.   活动时间定为3月12日(周日) 10:00 a.m. (可能根据天气进行调整, 如有调整,校友会届时将启事告知)。 集合地点：Google Map可搜索Vargas Plateau Regional Park 集合点坐标： (37.5747300,-121.9327119) 校友会温馨提示:  1.建议自带: 水，零食，太阳帽， 防晒霜等等 2.可以带狗，但是需要牵绳。   公园提示: 禁烟禁酒, 禁止集花草树木及动物, 禁止喂食野生动物。 此次活动全程室外，相对比较安全。校友会鼓励大家戴口罩并会准备全新的口罩以备不时之需。未完成疫苗接种的同学建议待接种后再参加集体活动。 本次爬山活动结束后， 校友会不组织午餐活动， 但鼓励校友们组合聚餐，继续交流。
