Silent Images is excited to relaunch Women in Focus, a monthly gathering to create awareness of pressing social issues impacting our city or world. The gathering includes a short film screening followed by discussion with a local topic expert(s). The March event will focus on the foster care in Charlotte. Nicole Taylor with Congregation for Kids will be our speaker. Our upcoming gatherings will focus on: Sunday March 26 - Foster care Sunday April 30 - Micro-financing We look forward to seeing you at our host site - Brakeman's in downtown Matthews - for coffee, pastries and awareness raising conversations. Registration is required as space is limited to 50 women. We hope you'll invite a friend! Note: Women in Focus is NOT a fundraiser. However, when relevant, volunteer and support opportunities will be shared.
