Description

The method we use to brew coffee has a pronounced impact on the final cup. This course combines demonstration with hands-on practice to introduce participants to various percolation and immersion brewing methods. Learners will gain experience with multiple manual brewers. Some of the devices we may explore in class include the Kalita Wave, the Chemex, the French Press, and the Aeropress. Along the way, we’ll discuss the features that make each method unique, as well as general best practices for getting the most complexity and flavor from your brews.
