Mural Run through east Charlotte

Description

We'll meet at Veterans Park for group run around Charlotte's East side to check out murals. You'll see about 20 murals on the 5.5 mile run, lasting approximately 90 minutes. This gives the group plenty of time to stop at the murals for pictures and learn about the art & artists. Our pace will be around 10 minuntes/miles but there will be several stops. There are two runs of a mile each. Why come to the run? Check out the art, learn about the community and give back to the community. We'll collect $15 from each runner, which goes to purchasing art to be raffled off and donated to a local art org. Funds can be sent via Venmo (reitz-tim), PayPal (@reitztim) or cash.
