Interested in learning about California native plants and the ecosystems they live in? Join us for this engaging walk identifying native plants, enjoying the outdoors, and deepening your relationship with rich and diverse local ecology. After all the recent rains, this is sure to be a beautiful experience! Please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, bring water and dress for weather. Arrival instructions will be emailed close to the date. Children under 7 years old do not need a ticket. This hike is not wheelchair accessible. Terry Huang is your friendly neighborhood botanist and garden coach. From helpful tips to encouragement, he loves finding creative ways to make botanical science and gardening knowledge fun and accessible. With an integrated background of botanical and horticultural experience, Terry is ready to share this knowledge and send you off on your gardening journey. Terry holds a BS in Plant Biology from the University of Washington and a MSc in Biodiversity and Taxonomy of Plants from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
