Connect the Veterans, Veteran organizations and those who support Veterans in NE FL to share information; encourage Veterans organizations to work together in order to establish a base of power to deal with issues affecting Veterans and their families. 2. Form a Veterans Council made up of Veterans from the NE FL area that can provided leadership in dealing with issues affecting Veterans, establish initiatives that benefit the Veterans community, share our values throughout the community through mission awareness outreach events. 3. Work towards establishing a Veterans Community Center where Veterans of all eras and ages can gather; it would help with alleviating unemployment, homelessness and assist with dealing with PTSD among Veterans; it would provide a gathering/rally point for all Veterans and Veteran organizations to share in the camaraderie we had when on active duty and look after each other. 4. Provide oversight in all matters dealing with honoring Veterans in NE FL to ensure Veterans service and sacrifices are handled with honor and integrity; this includes ensuring Veterans who are deserving of recognition are appropriately recognized and making sure honor and integrity is paramount in the process of making these decisions.
