In Lay Bare, curator Zeal Eva invites eight Black women artists in Pittsburgh to answer the question, “Who would you be if you could be your most authentic self?” The resulting exhibition is an exploration of the multiplicities of identity, making visible the unseen spaces between the lived and imagined, the community and self, and between work, pleasure, and rest.
This event is presented in collaboration with Fete-Fete Ltd., a consulting practice for creatives. Taking the Whole Artist Approach - we focus on creating wrap around services for artists, creative entrepreneurs, and the organizations that serve them with the support they need - whether that's through professional development workshops, one-on-one knowledge and skills building, and personal wellness or serving as a creative collaborator to help bring their visions to life. What started as pop up multi-disciplinary celebrations of artists has become a one stop shop in supporting artists in claiming their power and ascending to their next level.
