Join Engage the Brain’s Learning Specialists Libby Couch and Sabrina Sullivan as they discuss multisensory approaches that support all learners. These multisensory techniques develop students’ mental agility by encouraging them to use many parts of the brain, which allows new concepts, skills, and strategies to create new neural pathways and stay fixed in memory. It is particularly helpful for teaching students identified with language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia. Participants will learn techniques using math and reading manipulatives that encourage play. This session will be held at the UCF Innovation Center, with demonstrations by the presenters, but parents may watch from home on zoom if distance or capacity exceeds availability. Please select the desired ticket type.-ED
