Distinctly Colorado | A Splash of Pink is Sense of Security's signature fall fundraising event. This year we're returning to Baldoria on the Water in Lakewood on Friday, September 22 from 6-10PM. We'll have another wonderful selection of silent auction items to peruse while enjoying your Uncle Tim's Cocktails and passed appetizers. Over your three-course dinner, Live Auctions by Libby (Libby Pollack) will entertain you and share amazing global vacation options and hard to score local experiences that all benefit our sustained financial assistance program. Since our founding in 2000, Sense of Security has distributed more than $2,200,000 to 2,185 families across 58 counties in Colorado. These sustained assistance grants of $500 a month for six months are used to help pay expenses like housing, utilities, transportation and groceries, allowing our grantees to focus their energy more on recovery than on the financial toxicity often caused by a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
