Annual Ohio River Sweep River Excursion: Cannelton - Troy Approx.: ~ 6 NM (Nautical Miles) Saturday, April 22, 2023 1:30 p.m. CST. - 5:00 p.m. CST This event is part of the ORSANCO annual river sweep. Learn more here at www.orsanco.org This Earth Day, meet Paddle Perry at the Cannelton Boat Ramp Saturday, April 22nd at 1:30 p.m. CST. We will be paddling from Cannelton to Troy and picking up single-use plastics along the shoreline. If the river conditions will not allow a safe paddle, we will spend this time cleaning up the local boat ramps instead. We’ll start at the Cannelton boat ramp at 1:30 p.m CST. We'll provide the equipment (bags, gloves, sanitizer, reach and grab sticks) at the launch site for participants who show up at 1:30 p.m. First come, first serve. You will be required to sign a waiver before participating. This event is FREE to the public (from land), and FREE to Paddle Perry Members (from water). If you are cleaning from the river with us you'll be required to sign an additional waiver before launching with us.
