Shri Rama Navami is an important Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Shri Rama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is celebrated every year on the ninth day of the Chaitra month (the first month in the Hindu lunar calendar) — which falls on March 30th this year. Some of the ways in which Shri Rama Navami is celebrated include reveling in the stories of, performing a puja and offering devotional music to Shri Rama. Lord Rama holds an important place in the hearts of all Hindus living across the world.
All are invited to join us with family and friends for Rama Navami Celebrations on Saturday, March 25th, 2023.
The "Samasthi Puja" will be performed by all participants. Each family/child will have their own place setting for the puja.Morning program is conducted by Chinmaya Bala Vihar Berkeley sevaks & studentsAfternoon program consists of Devotional Music offerings on Sri Rama by SF East Bay artists and families.The program is free for all.
We request you to please register in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements for Puja, Prasad and Snacks.
