We at Carolina Film Network are really excited to officially announce our Film Incubator Program! Our Film Incubator Program (FIP) is designed to help creatives enhance their skills, experience, and education in the film industry for personal growth and economic development. We do this by providing support with project development, project management, and team building through experience on a live set and post production. We also provide in-house equipment needed for production and avenues for creatives to have film for their reels, IMDb credits, marketing material, literature, and accessible resources in the industry. What to expect: Over the course of one weekend per month, we meet to conceptualize a short story or commercial with an agreed upon genre. We then storyboard what we’ve structured in three Acts, review what’s needed for its production, and strategize its implementation for maximum potential earnings and effectiveness. From there, we produce it as a short film and screen it in the theater while providing a critical review. For the month of March our Film Incubator Program will be the 19th, and the 26th. If you would like to sign up for the Film Incubator Program there is a $25.00 fee (unless you are a society member) and you need to be available for the whole weekend.
