Presented by experts in the area of child maltreatment and sponsored by Phoenix Children’s, this symposium aims to help community and medical professionals expand their knowledge regarding child maltreatment, abuse and neglect. This is an annual conference (prior to Covid) which is now being held in person for all providers who care for child abuse victims. The topics presented reflect what is being seen today by our Child Protection Team with an emphasis on recognition and appropriate management of child maltreatment victims. Target Audience: Community agencies (EMS/Fire/PD), Child Welfare Professionals(OCWI, DCS, Social Workers), Legal Professionals,Healthcare Professionals, and anyone who works with or cares for injured, neglected & abused children.
