The Cacao ceremony is a personal experience as well, depending on how each individual connects with this plant/ancestral medicine. Cacao helps you to connect with your higher self and open up your heart to release what no longer serves you, manifest and receive what you are ready to receive. This medicine has also been known to connect us with our ancestors and the Great Spirit on a deep personal level. Each Shamanic journey is different. What Is Rapé or Hapé? Rapé is made by combining tobacco from the Nicotiana rustica plant with a secret combination of Amazonian foliage and then crushing it into a powder. Also, it’s known to be casually referred to as ‘hape’, ‘hapi’ or ‘rapay” by some Western people. The blend that Karla uses in her ceremonies is Ayahusaca Rapé. AYAHUASCA RAPÉ This blend is made from the rest of ayahuasca that is attached to the bottom of the pan. It's called Tongoni, and the katukina and shawandawa tribe are used to transforming this part that is left from the cooking of the medicine, into a new blend. It's very energetic, you can feel the scent of the vine. Very appropriate for medicine wheels and ceremonies, gives us a feeling of liberation and purpose.
