TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT MUST BE PURCHASED THROUGH THE COLUMBUS MUSEUM OF ART HEREJoin hOm at the Columbus Museum of Art for a special Spring equinox sound bath and celebration featuring pop-up experiences with local partners honoring the great bloom of life and creativity that arrives with the Spring season. Registration is $77 per person. Register here The garden of an artist’s soul is filled with seeds of passion, imagination, and creativity. That unknowable depth of the artist’s heart breathes life into this garden where endless expressions of what it means to be alive bloom and come to life. Just as artists create, giving the gift of life to their work, what better place to celebrate the arrival of Spring, the season of life and creativity, than at the Columbus Museum of Art. Note: Doors open at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with the sound bath beginning at 7:00 PM. (Entry will no longer be permitted after 7:00 PM so as to not disrupt the sound bath). Our Spring Equinox Sound Bath and Celebration will include: • A 75+ minute sound bath with hOm Sound & Meditation featuring live piano & violin • Kava ceremony with Conscious Seed • Spring Equinox mini altar kit pop-up by Brewing Intuition • “Sit Around and Find Out” meditation pop-up by Enso Meditation Society • “Planting your intentions” plant potting pop-up with local partners • A self guided audio experience throughout the museum composed by Jesse Cale • hOm’s ceremony and ritual stations • Reiki offering during the sound bath (optional) • Tarot readings • Live music • And so much more Registration for this event must be done on the museum websiteWhenMarch 20th | Arrive anytime between 4 & 6:50 | Sound bath will begin promptly at 7 pm and entry will no longer be permitted as to not disrupt the ceremony. Everyone has different preferences and we want you to be comfortable. Bring a journal and pen so you can reflect on anything that is brought up during the ceremony or to write down any messages that come through for you. We will have a space where you can place objects you would like to be charged with the energy of the night. (please nothing large, small items preferred like crystals, jewelry, bones, etc.) *If you forget an object at the charging station - we have a lost and found. Please email [email protected] if you need to recover lost property from one of our events.Sensory informationWhat is a sound bath? Information for those sensitive or potentially allergic to sensory tools involved in the ceremony: The ceremony will involve the burning of herbal smudge sticks, palo santo, and incense. A variety of colors will be used for the lighting as well as projectors. We have eye masks available to help block out any additional or distracting lighting during the ceremony. This being a sound bath - there will be a wide range of aural stimulus from singing bowls and piano to organic and synthetic ambient textures. If any of this information changes, it will be mentioned at the start of the sound bath. *Occasionally Sound Baths can bring up some deep feelings or thoughts that can be a lot to process in the moment.
