Presented by Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways and Onondaga Community College As a highly sought-after diversity speaker, Col. Eileen M. Collins (Ret.) will discuss the leadership and personal qualities necessary for success and share how her career as an astronaunt took shape, from her ealry years in the Air Force to becoming the first woman to command a shuttle mission. The day will begin with classroom-based hands-on STEAM activities for Girl Scouts presented by OCC and GSNYPENN staff. Col. Collins' talk in the college's arena will follow. A brief post-lecture Q&A/meet and greet/group photo with Col. Collins for all participating GSNYPENN members will wrap up the event. (Full -day attendees are asked to bring their own snacks/drinks.)
