Mental mastery gives us insight into the unconscious patterns that silently drive our behaviors and outcomes. We'll explore and connect with what builds resiliency and well-being by following four paths to mental mastery:
From Judgments to Curiosity
Learn about fixed and growth mindsets, how beliefs become self-fulfilling prophecies, and begin building your capacity for bouncing back when faced with adversity by getting curious and staying on the "learner path."
Reframing Thoughts and Beliefs
It's not what happens to us that affects how we feel; it's our interpretations of the situation. The key to resilience is having flexibility and accuracy in those interpretations. We'll review the cognitive and behavioral skills that will empower us to reframe pessimistic thoughts/beliefs and help us to be less reactive.
Working with Worry
Work to uncover basic truths about fear & how to tackle that familiar & often debilitating voice of worry & self-doubt and learn to appreciate what worry is trying to do for us and how to calm the physical sensations of worry.
Mastering Thoughts and Beliefs
Explore simplified approaches to redirecting and reframing thoughts in real-time. Instead of getting stuck in thoughts of judgment, worry, or regret, you will learn to choose thoughts that feel better and are solution oriented.
