Are you a small farmer who markets directly to consumers? Don’t miss the Small Farm Agri-Business Workshop on April 27, 2023 at the Bertie County Extension Office. USDA-FNS and Marketlink will be at the workshop so direct farm marketers can register to accept SNAP/EBT payments for retail sales. Eligible farmers will also receive a free SNAP/EBT card reader and a free year of processing through Totilpay system. In addition, exhibitors and presenters will share important information about small farm retail sales including marketing, sales tax, NC regulations, and production information.
