Durham SOUP provides an opportunity for members of the community can come together for a pitch contest to celebrate innovative businesses and projects in Durham over dinner. The event features four presentations from local early-stage entrepreneurs and community members with venture concepts. Attendees listen to the pitches, meet other members of the Durham community, and then vote on the best pitch to win the proceeds from the event. We typically feature entrepreneurs who do not otherwise have access to capital for their ventures and whose small businesses benefit the Durham community in some way. The event will be held Thursday November 17th from 6-7:30PM at American Underground(201 West Main St, Durham NC)
