In honor of the season of spring, let us explore the world of medicinal plants through the lens of flowers. We'll explore local wildflowers and their medicinal properties as well as other edible flowers and their health benefits. This class will include a quick intro into what herbalism is and how we can use one of nature's most beautiful masterpieces (flowers) to help support us in our health and well-being. Students will walk away knowing the medicinal benefits of a handful of flowers and how they can be used in both teas and cooking. This is a FREE library program. NO TICKET REQUIRED
