Join us for Tails & Ales as we work to support our mission of providing service dogs to veterans. Each of the pups in our program is a rescue, and they are trained by an amazing team of offender trainers at Jefferson City Correctional Center. Prior to being placed with their veteran, they complete public access training with wonderful local trainers who help them hone their skills! Join us from 5:30p-8:00p (come and go as you please). Dinner will be available at 6:15p with a presentation about our program at 6:45. Dinner will be provided through Cesar's Old Mexico and we will also offer a dog treat buffet. Each ticket includes 1 beer, your food for the evening and a small gift for your four-legged pal if they join you. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome! We will have some K9s merchandise for sale as well as some amazing raffle items. Cash, check, and card donations will be accepted on site and we also welcome Chewy gift cards! Pups in training are hungry! Between adoption fees, food, veterinary bills, transport, harnesses, crates, toys, supplies, training and more, it takes over $8,500 to train one service dog. Anything truly makes a difference for the dogs, trainers and veterans.
