Please read all of the information below prior to registration. Registration for this event ends on March 20th. Payment is $50.00 with maximum of 5 classes or $30.00 with a maximum of 3 classes, if sharing a horse. Gates open at 8:00 am. Helmets are mandatory. Judge: Jennifer Sawyer Volunteers: Each family that participates in the horse show is required to have someone volunteer on their behalf. Volunteers will need to be at the arena at 8:30 on show date. List the volunteer's name and e-mail below. Roles will be assigned and shared before show date. Possible volunteer roles include: registration, set-up, ring crew, timing, ring steward, check-in, open-close gate. If the volunteer has a preference, please list it below. Show Requirements: Participants may register for up to 5 classes per horse, unless a horse is shared with a max of 3 classes per rider. Participants competing in the walk-trot division may only compete in W/T classes, along with in-hand ground classes. Age Divisions: Juniors are 8‐10 as of September l of the current 4‐H year.Intermediates (11‐13 as of September l of the current 4‐H year) have the option of competing in either the Junior or Senior division. Intermediates may qualify for Regionals provided they compete and qualify in the Senior Division in both the Area and State shows. Intermediates who do not wish to compete for potential qualification for Regionals should enter the Junior division at the Area show. Juniors, and Intermediates competing at the Junior level, will not be permitted to participate in competition beyond state level.Seniors must be 14 years old on or before September l of the current 4‐H year.Awards: Fun awards will be offered. Sr. Barrel Race **If you are in Walk-Trot classes you may not enter speed classes. **Walk-Trot exhibitors may not have a cantering or loping experience prior to day of show. Note: The P.A. system is used to help the show move as smoothly as possible, but is only a courtesy. It is the responsibility of the contestants to know when they are required to be in the make‐up area or arena. Not hearing or understanding gate calls, etc. is NOT an excuse for missing one’s order of work, heat, or class. You must pre-register. No on site registration.
