Join UF/IFAS Extension Natural Resources and Conservation faculty, Shannon Carnevale, for an introduction to camping.This class is for all you beginners out there who want to learn how to camp in comfort! We're talking about frontcountry camping, which is camping in designated campgrounds or campsites that you can drive to. Think state park campgrounds, Fort Wilderness, or one of the thousands of KOA campgrounds or other private campgrounds across Florida and the country. This class is all about teaching you the basics to plan and enjoy a safe and cozy camping trip in a frontcountry campsite. This event is designed for Youth and Adults at least 16 years of age and older but youth under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian. This event will be canceled if minimum registration is not met by April 17. Registered guests will receive a full refund if that is the case. Please share this event with friends and family to reduce the chances of cancellation!
