This half day experience is centered around creating and embracing our transformations, our expansions, and the culmination of our efforts. Through physical movement, play, connection (with ourselves and each other), collective conversation, and education we'll practice, embody, and lean into the elements that help us create space AND take up our space. We'll start at Robinette's with physical movement facilitated by Dani Atkins. Dani is a professional ballroom dancer, choreographer, and advocate for the mental and physical health benefits of movement. Have fun with this guided movement element by bringing props (boas, hats, tulle skirts, scarves), wearing secure shoes (you just might have so much fun that you want to dance around and kick your feet), and letting down your guard enough to immerse yourself in this play experience alongside others. After our movement session we'll segue into a coaching session with Kim Trathen - The Business Coach. Kim will walk us through (and cheer-lead us on) the language, mindset, and habits that contribute to expansive growth. For those of you that don't know Kim, she's a powerhouse, and loves to use her talent and passion to breathe life, confidence, and clarity into the lives of others. From there we'll dive into a collective conversation guided by your hosts, co-founders Alicia Shumaker and Rebecca Thomas. We'll talk through our morning experience - how we're feeling, shifts we're noticing, and reflect on ways we can create more of that in our lives. After that we'll have a short break so we can commute just a few minutes down the road to Frederick Meijer Gardens for a guided tour of the Butterflies are Blooming exhibit, and immerse ourselves even further into conversation around transformation, expansion, and culmination. You'll want to wear some comfy clothes (or a change of clothes), but absolutely have fun with what you want to wear. Remember, the latter part of the day is a guided tour of the Butterfly Exhibit. Keep in mind the greenhouse will be warm, and your ticket includes full range of the Frederick Meijer Gardens (which you can take advantage of after our day concludes), so plan and dress accordingly.
