Compost Corral is a monthly event on the third Thursdays, 6 p - 7:30 pm, of the months March – September. The mission for this program is to grow our compost community here in OKC and to highlight organizations who are doing important sustainable work in our area. By connecting people, we hope to encourage at-home composting and provide resources to support our home composters. Each month will have a different theme (Introduction to composting, the soil food web, liquid composting, community composting and more!) Each event consists of a presentation done by SPF staff or a guest speaker, a tour of SPF composting operations (depending on theme) and a networking component (with snacks!). We hope to provide resources and versatility to demonstrate composting options that will work for everyone.
