Join Cindy Meyer, with Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District, to learn about basic chicken husbandry and things to consider before getting chickens. Participants will walk away with knowledge of appropriate chicken breeds, and the important elements of keeping a happy, healthy flock! Cindy Meyer Bio - Cindy has worked in the area of Horticulture and Agriculture for over 18 years. She attended The Ohio State University and West Virginia University and has degrees in Agriculture Education and Communications. She previously worked for The Ohio State University as an Extension Educator and currently works with Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District as a Conservation program specialist and works with farmland preservation, watershed work and stormwater programming. She enjoys homesteading activities with her husband and two boys on her property near Lebanon. Ages 18 & up
