On Sunday, April 30 at 4:00 PM, the Lake County History Center will present its Second Annual, "Boys of Summer' speakers program. This year's speaker is renowned professional baseball writer, Jim Ingraham. Jim is the longtime beat writer for the Cleveland Indians and Guardians. Jim was the long time writer and columnist for the Lake County News Herald and now the Elyria Telegram-Chronicle. Quite simply, Jim is one of the best baseball writers in the country. The program begins with a baseball brunch at 4:00 PM with the return of our famous hot dog bar. There will also be peanuts, popcorn, and cracker jacks on the menu. After brunch, Jim will take over.Jim is also the author of, "Mike Hargrove and the Cleveland Indians." If you love Cleveland baseball....you will love this book.Cost of the program is $40 for non-members and $35 for members. The price includes the book and signing by Jim. If you love the Tribe and/or Guards you will not want to miss this.
