Description

This is a technique workshop that uses handmade templates, (16) 6 ½” blocks, backing fabric, and fusible webbing. Students will create a 25” x 25” (approx.) Totem Wall Hanging. The area of concentration will be design, using fused pieces, the zig zag stitch and multiple layers of fabric to create depth and visual cohesion that will enhance the overall project. Students will leave having added a new design element to their quilting repertoire. • For beginners to advanced quilters • Pre-registration and kit purchase required $45. Delivered at workshop. • A supply list with instructions will be furnished with registration confirmation. Sewing machine optional if the background is pieced prior to the workshop.
