Have fun while fighting hunger! Join us for a high-energy hands-on volunteer project where you'll help assemble thousands of nutrient-rich meals in just a couple of hours! Sponsored by Visalia Rotary and Rotaract Clubs, this one-day event will be at College of the Sequoias with meals being donated to support the COS Giant Pantry. Founded in 2004, The Outreach Program has partnered with thousands of community groups across the country to package over 750 million meals to local feeding organizations. We package ten different dry protein meals for 35 cents apiece, which have the 21 essential vitamins and minerals and plant-based protein. And while these nutritious meals will be donated locally, a portion of the proceeds help fund our Children's Center in Tanzania which provides food, water and medical care for hundreds of students each week.
