The 2nd annual Brews, Blues & BBQ event features great food and drink as well as 6 hours of blues music starting at 3pm. Here's what you need to know: * there are two competitions on the day of the event, one is a BBQ cook off competition with 10 cooks competing for cash prizes. The other is our second annual "Banana Puddin'-Off" with three local bakeries competing for the title of Top Banana. * BBQ plates are $25/each, this includes almost 3lbs of smoked pork BBQ. Plates include coleslaw and roll or cornbread. Every plate includes a ticket, your vote will help determine the winners. * Banana pudding plates are $16/each and include three banana puddings by three different cooks. Every plate includes a ticket, your vote will help determine the winner. * we will release a honey pale ale that day - this is the ultimate BBQ beer that is guaranteed to pair well with your BBQ pork selections. * Blues music starts at 3pm inside the beer hall in front of the large mural. Soul Pancake returns for their second year at the event & we welcome blues musicians Andy Coats & Jason Damico to their first Brews, Blues & BBQ. * This is a free and open event. Tickets are necessary for food and beverages are available at the bar but the music just comes with the territory at this event. If you like the smell of smoked meats, the sound of blues and the taste of beer then this will be the event for you.
