Hosted at our Techstars LA HQ, this is a mixer for early stage founders to meet and greet with our Techstars LA team, and our friends at FoundersBoost. We're looking forward to answering any questions you may have, providing advice to those who need it, and meeting founders who are the heart of the LA ecosystem! Applications will open March 13th for both our Techstars Space Program and our Techstars LA program. Both are run by the same Managing Director, Matt Kozlov, and will involve the same team members from Techstars. The only difference: Techstars LA is industry agnostic, Techstars Space is specific to space and deep tech. Techstars LA: Techstars LA will select 12 high-growth startups to participate in its intensive 13-week program. The program is open to founders of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on diverse entrepreneurs undervalued and overlooked by other venture capital sources. The program is open to tech companies in any sector but with a particular focus on health and wellness, deeptech, proptech, B2B SaaS, and e-commerce/retail enablement. Now in its eighth year, Techstars LA has invested in 76 companies globally that have raised more than $250 million and are worth more than $650 million, including high growth startups such as ComplYant, FLY BY JING, Butterfly Labs, Fernish, and Max Retail. Techstars Space: Techstars Space will select 12 space startups to participate in its intensive 13-week program. We have a strong alumni base, and a tradition of working with world-leading space and deep tech startups. Alumni from our previous cohorts are launching space systems and infrastructure, raising tens of millions of dollars in venture capital as well as receiving lucrative contracts from both government and commercial customers. Key alumni include Slingshot Aerospace, Morpheus, Equatorial Space, Orbit Fab, Pixxel, and Hydrostat. Each startup will sharpen and grow product offerings to accelerate their traction with support from mentors in commercial, civil, and government roles across a number of industries and geographies. Techstars is one of the most active investors in space tech with over fifty sector investments over the last sixteen years. Over that time we’ve developed an incredible network of mentors, investors, and prospective customers that we’re excited to connect with our portfolio companies. In addition to our in-house experience, our Techstars LA Space mentors include experts from the US Air Force, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab, Lockheed Martin, Maxar, Boeing, Airbus, Voyager Space, Virgin Orbit, Blue Origin, Northrop Grumman and many more. The programs run concurrently in 14 regions around the world.
