We are pleased to announce that the 2023 Annual Montana Landlords Association meetings will be held in Helena at the Ramada by Wyndham (formerly Jorgenson's 406-442-1770, reserve rooms now) beginning the afternoon of Thursday of April 27, Friday the 28th and Saturday the 29th (Sat is optional, see below). Highlights of this exciting event include: Thursday 4/27: 12:30-8PM Attendees observe a legislative session of both the senate and house Thursday afternoon. We will then have a Montana legislature meet and greet at the Ramada by Wyndham in Helena. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres provided. Friday 4/28: 9-5PM Attendees will have chance to learn from exciting speakers discuss a host of issues and topics impacting landlords in Montana. Examples of the exciting speakers and educators include: John Sinrud - President of the MLA will provide an important legislative update.Patrick Barkey - Director of the Bureau of Business and Economic Research, UM will discuss trends in the MT rental economy.Michael Sol - Sol & Wolfe Law Firm, Landlord and Tenant Law expert will discuss the most common legal issues confronting landlords today.Warren Karlberg - Federal Fair Housing expert will ensure you stay compliant.Jesse Laslovich - United States Attorney for the District of MontanaDoorloop - Easiest-to-use, highest-rated property management application will demonstrate how their platform helps landlords improve profitability.Travis Brazil - Farmers Bank Helena Market President and Commercial Loan Officer will review financing options to help grow your rental business. Saturday 4/29: 8-11AM Attendance optional. General membership meeting followed by our board meeting. The first meeting is the 2023 Annual Membership Meeting which if open to the members – at this meeting, each membership has one vote, either in person or by proxy, on any business brought up. The second meeting is the 2023 Annual Board of Directors Meeting which if open to the members but only the directors can vote on any business the is brought up. Members attendance fee is $35 for the first member and $25 per person for additional Member’s Spouse and/or Partner(s) if completed on or before April 1, 2023 and $50 for the first member and $35 per person for additional membership members (spouse or partners) after April 1, 2023.
