Instructed by Hazel Revlon We invite you back for Round 6 of the "Legendary" Vogue 101 Workshop Series with our new guest instructor: Hazel Revlon. Learn the art of voguing femme with Pittsburgh's finest. Voguing is a special and unique art form that lives in our illusive underground Ballroom community, but today has become a style of movement for everyone, regardless of your experience – it’s all about love, sharing and self-expression. Hazel Revlon will facilitate a unique 1-hour workshop that will introduce you to the elements of vogue, including spins, dips, floorwork, runway and more. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Class is limited to 10 participants. Guests should wear comfortable clothing & shoes. Any participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Drop-ins welcomed, but preregistration is suggested to assure space availability!MEET THE INSTRUCTOR: For s long as he can remember Hazell has been dancing. He says “I remember dance before I can walk. I remember using the tablet to stand up sway my hips to ‘rock the boat’ by Aaliyah”. He began his first dance class at five with the “Sugar and Spice 412 Dancing Divas”. Here he developed skills in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern dance forms. Around age 14 he began taking classes for gymnastic to better develop his artistic abilities. In 2016 when Hazell decided to join the ballroom scene he found this was a place where he felt he belonged. He has expressed that the ballroom scene and voguing is where he found himself. His true happiness. “When ever you are all alone and happy, that’s a feeling you can’t replace. Do what ever it is that allows you to feel that! For me its VOGUE… for others it is eating, sleeping, or drawing. I can’t tell you what’s for you though. You must figure it out”
