Introducing mason bees into your landscape can dramatically increase your pollination, especially during our soggy spring when honey bees aren’t very active. Bee expert Brenda Calvert, of Half Moon Farm (http://www.halfmoonfarm.com/), will walk you through setting up nesting boxes and blocks, discuss the benefits of mason bees, and discuss the minimal yearly maintenance & supplies involved in keeping your hard-working friends happy. *All classes will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 1, which is located right behind the store. We will have heaters going but please remember to dress warmly so you are comfortable during the presentation.*
