The Delaware County Historical Society welcomes participants 12 and over to step back in time and experience the tradition of “taking tea,” during the Victorian Era (1820 – 1914), the period in which the Nash House Museum was built.
Hostess Pam Allen will share a brief history of tea, from its discovery in China to its introduction to Europe and its impact on colonization. Participants will learn proper tea etiquette and enjoy an assortment of teas, sweets, savories and a tour of the historic Nash House Museum.
