Join us for a Building Strong Brains Training on May 11, 2023 at Springfield Baptist Church. At this training individuals will learn about adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and how ACEs can disrupt early brain architecture and development. Left unadressed, ACEs can have a negative impact on children's ability to thrive. Through increasing awareness about ACEs we can help individuals affected by ACEs become more resilient. In doing so we can create positive childhood experiences that help children combat the negative effects of ACEs which will in turn help our community as a whole become more resilient. This training is offerred for FREE in partnership with the Tennessee Building Strong Brains initiative, TSPN, and Springfield Baptist Church to promote Children's Mental Health Acceptance Week which is May 7th - 13th. Come learn about ACEs, children's mental health, and be part of a community that promotes resiliency and hope. This training will run 2 hours, 1.5 hours is the curriculum with another .5 hour factored in for questions.
