Nowruz (meaning New Day in Faris) is a tradition celebrated in Iran that dates back to the Zoroastrian times (that's over 3,000 years ago!) as a way to celebrate the new year. The holiday marks the beginning of spring and the equinox. Traditional customs of the Nowruz festival include fire and water, ritual dances, gift exchanges, reciting poetry, symbolic objects and more. It is largely a secular holiday for those who celebrate and enjoyed by people of several different faiths and backgrounds.

Come by on March 19th from 5 pm - 7:30 pm to see a traditional Persian New Year table spread set up, engage in some activities in collaboration with the Worcester Art Museum, listen to Persian music, eat authentic Persian pastries baked by @mazehwithnilou, and enjoy a specialty latte menu by us at Fuel Grove Street. We hope to see you there!
