Homeplace Beer Company presents the third annual True Grist Festival on Saturday, May 6th 12noon - 4pm. This year's event will feature feature 14 regional craft breweries creating unique small batches brewed exclusively with NC grown and malted grains. In addition to Homeplace, participating breweries include: Big Pillow Brewing (Hot Springs) Burning Blush (Arden) Cellarest Beer Project (Asheville) Dssolvr (Asheville) Eurisko (Asheville) Fonta Flora (Nebo, NC) Hi-Wire Brewing (Asheville, NC) Hillman Beer (Asheville, Old Fort) Laconia Ale Project (Sparta, NC) New Origin (Asheville) Outsider Brewing (Woodfin, NC) Whaley Farm Brewery (Old Fort, NC) Zillicoah (Woodfin, NC) A limited amount of early bird special tickets will be available for $25 beginning this Friday, March 1. Once those are gone tickets are $30. Entry includes a custom 7 oz. festival glass with five beer tokens for sampling. Additional tokens may also be purchased at the event. The following food trucks will be set up in our greenspace serving food throughout the event. ~ The Scarlet Bee (Lebanese) ~ Dirty Gertie's Taco Stand ~ Hog Hollow Wood Fired Pizza This is a tap-takeover style event, and Homeplace will be closed to the public for the afternoon and will reopen for dinner service at 5PM. We have ample seating inside our three story building, the covered deck and many picnic tables throughout our yard area. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or their own lawn chairs if they wish. No dogs allowed. Please leave your furry friends at home for this one. This is a 21+ event.
