San Diego Canyonlands' mission is to promote, protect and restore the natural habitats in San Diego County's canyons and creeks, fostering education and ongoing community involvement in stewardship and advocacy, and by collaborating with other organizations. Plants Por Favor is proud to partner up with SD Canyonlands by creating this experience with the purpose of getting to know our neighborhood canyons, this time we will visit Switzer Canyon. We will meet at Plants Por Favor at 8:00 am and walk together to Switzer Canyon, our friends from San Diego Canyonlands will guide us to a plant identification hike. This is 5 years of age and up family friendly hike due to recent weather conditions; we also recommend bringing hiking shoes or boots.
