The Girls to Women Leadership Symposium is designed to provide a platform that will help our young girls build critical skills as they continue growing into their roles as leaders of their communities and inspire them to become tomorrow’s most influential leaders. The event will expose young women to a wide array of women in leadership who will share insight and guidance that will help them grasp the concepts of leadership and how to act upon the dreams of making a difference in the world and the local community. Event theme: Women in Leadership. The event will include break-out sessions and a panel discussion facilitated by expert speakers. Teens will participate in small group discussions that will be mutually beneficial to both mentors and mentees. Teens will be matched with a mentor and participate in two 30-minute workshop sessions. Mentor and youth will engage in focused conversations about the subject matter presented in the workshop.
