Black>LIT is an intentional effort to motivate, reaffirm, and empower our culture by making literacy relatable, relevant, and accessible to communities of color. Black>LIT showcases the published literary works of talented African-American authors throughout North Carolina, as well as publications with content that is of general interest to African-American readers. Attaining POWER through KNOWLEDGE, Black>LIT not only strives to keep a love for literacy present in communities of color, it also serves as a developmental resource for emerging and established African-American Authors who aspire to take their literary works to the next level.
