Floral Arrangement/Beginning Watercolor and Mixed media

This slightly abstracted floral study is a perfect piece for beginning watercolorists to learn how to wash, bleed, and layer within a secure structure. Students can choose from many floral options for inspiration, or bring their own image by sending it to me 3 days prior to class at [email protected] for correct sizing.
This course will be taught on The Art Bus Fl, a mobile art studio housed in a bus which will be parked on the grounds of the Garden.
All supplies are included in your session fee. Please bring a water bottle and wear art friendly clothes.
Aprons and masks will be provided free of charge.

Kris Finn is a certified teacher and teaching artist who has taught in public school classrooms in Central Florida for the last 20 years. She received her degree in studio art from the University of Iowa and has taught art to K-12 students of all levels. Her personal work includes a wide variety of media with a focus on acrylics, fibers, watercolor, ink, jewelry, metals and mosaic. Her awards and organizational roles include Teacher of The Year, FAEA June Hinckley Award for Excellence, OCPS Hero Teacher, Kessler Grand Bohemian Finalist, curriculum writer, workshop presenter, OCAEA board member, show juror and show docent.
