You've seen them on social media - now make one of your own! We will spend every Monday in April working on fairy houses. Reserving a spot on Eventbrite ensures you will have a basic structure to build on, but you are also welcome to create a basic structure of your own to bring and fill with the fun miniatures and accessories we'll create together in the MakerSpace. Completed fairy houses* will be on display in the library for the month of May. Here is the schedule of what we'll work on each week: 4/3: Exteriors including windows, roof treatments, and the outside walls of the house, as well as foliage. 4/10: Interiors including walls, ceilings, floors, and hearth or fireplace. 4/17: Furniture like chairs, tables, beds, and kitchen things like stoves, ovens, and sinks. 4/24: Accessories like bookcases, shelving, rugs, cushions, and ornaments. Participants will be able to leave their projects in the MakerSpace during the course of the build, and may be able to schedule extra time during the week with the MakerSpace manager to work on their piece. This program is for fairy aficionados 12 and up; 9-11 may participate if working with parent or guardian. Only one reservation is necessary for a family; one house per reservation.
