On this 1-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion we are preparing for a screening in sunny South Florida at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Lake Worth. Just back from a 5-week trip to Ukraine director Steve Richards also shot new footage for his new film: Back to Bucha. Finding the Spirit in Ukraine. Richards will be in attendance to take questions. He will also be bringing a gift from another St. Andrew’s, the Church of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called is the iconic Ukrainian Orthodox church in Bucha, site of the mass grave that stunned the world as Russia retreated in early March, 2022. It was here that Russian atrocities and war crimes first became apparent. He visited St. Andrew’s while in Bucha a few weeks ago and was granted an interview for the new film by Father Andrew, the pastor.
