Invite your (a) friend or (b) partner to a sensitive, somatic, and emotional evening at Gather East Rock. This workshop will use movement, breathwork, voice, & touch to pave new paths of togetherness. With guidance from two expert facilitators (Tula [she/they] & Raffaele [he/they]), duos will be venture into new styles of communication, physical attunement, co-regulation. Framework: For friends and/or partners (2 people)All relationship styles are welcome (queer, straight, monogamous, ENM, poly, friendship, hierarchical, non-heirarchy, etc.)Facilitators will create a space of non-judgement & curiosityAll exercises are propositions. We believe that each person is an expert of their own body, and thus our propositions can be accepted or changed to what a participant or a duo may need in a given moment. Facilitators will always allow for these changes and adjustments. Consensual interactions: All ways of engagement must be freely given, reversible, informed, enthusiastic, specific. Facilitators: Tula & Raffa are partners who take great joy in co-creation & facilitation. They prioritise their capacities for softness and sensitivity all while being rooted in conviction and honesty. Tula (she/they) is a clinical psychologist, dance movement therapist (Moving Memory), and dance practicioner in Brussels, Belgium. They facilitate group therapy sessions, create dance pieces with sociocultural impoact, and maintain a private psychotherapy practice with systemic psychology, psychoanalytic, somatic & EMDR approaches. Find their website here. Raffa (he/they) is a meditation teacher at Yale University, where he facilitates group practices & discussions on love, compassion, Dharma, and climate-change. He is currently completing his Master’s degree in ecosystem conservation and environmental justice . Find his website here.
